Tulley Hill Sundown
The sun sets over the scalloped hills of a tallgrass pasture along Tulley Hill Road in the Kansas Flint Hills south of Manhattan. The grass is short and its color is especially vibrant because the Geary County pasture was burned earlier this spring. Cattle, due to be on the pasture the day after this photograph was taken, find new growth of grass to be especially palatable.
